Cardiogram is working with medical researches from UCSF to see if we can detect diseases like atrial fibrillation from apple-watch data. Atrial fibrillation is a cumulative effects disease and is associated with a 5x higher risk of stroke. We’re hoping that early detection of atrial fibrillation and intervention will help prevent strokes.
The more data our algorithm sees, the more accurate it gets. By contributing your data—regardless of whether you have a heart condition—you can teach our algorithm how to save lives.
